Camp Small Steps | UCB x Dravet Syndrome Foundation

Camp Small Steps is a traveling mini-camp initiative developed in partnership with UCB and the Dravet Syndrome Foundation to support families living with Dravet syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy. Designed to bring connection, joy, and meaningful resources directly to families, the program created safe, community-centered experiences for a population that often faces isolation.

Our team supported the initiative from concept through amplification. We attended on-site events to capture authentic, real-time content; filmed and produced interviews with caregivers, advocates, and partners; and managed end-to-end social content development across channels. This included editorial strategy, production oversight, regulatory coordination, content approvals, and distribution planning to ensure storytelling was both emotionally resonant and fully compliant.

By translating lived experiences into thoughtful digital storytelling, the campaign became a scalable content engine rooted in community voice. The work strengthened UCB’s connection to the rare disease community and demonstrated a commitment that extended beyond treatment — reinforcing partnership, advocacy, and long-term support.
